Amy's April Jillibean Soup Reaveal

Absolutely LOVED working with all the yummy spring themed goodness this month! Not only are the papers perfect for Easter & Spring themed projects, but I found that they were very versatile for other projects as well. Here is a trifold card that I made.....the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment on the 'inside'........
and here is the front.

The papers were perfect for this 'Boy' page......loved how I could pull out & accentuate the yellows in my son's shirt.

I loved how the brown/green/blue really worked together here.....throw in the red accents & voila!

And last but not least, the pinks & girly colors worked perfectly with this photo of my DD & her best friend.

Angela's April DT Reveal - Jillibean Soup

For the month of April, the Design Team was given the wonderful opportunity to design with products by Jillibean Soup... I love, love, love their items and thought that the "Egg Drop Soup" Collection was one of the most adorable lines around... Thank you for taking the time to view my 4 layouts, project and card that I created with this month's sponsor, Jillibean Soup.

Angela's April DT Reveal - Jillibean Soup (Part 2)

This post includes pictures of the project and card that I made using these adorable products by Jillibean Soup! My project is a mini tag book which contains verses (one for each month) to guide you in your growth of twelve areas that will lead you to "A Closer Walk With God".

Back up and Running

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Cookin' up Creations board is back up and running now! Please come say hi....I've missed you all!

Song Lyrics Challenge

Drivin' down the street today
I saw a sign for lemonade
They were the cutest kidsI'd ever seen in this front yard
As they handed me my glass
Smiled and thinkin' to myself
Man what a picture perfect postcard this would make of America

It's a high school prom
It's a Springsteen song
It's a ride in a Chevrolet
It's a man on the moon
And fireflies in June
And kids sellin' lemonade
It's cities and farms
It's open arms
One nation under God
It's America

Now we don't always get it all right
There's no place else I rather build my life
Cause it's a kid with a chance
It's a rock and roll band
It's a farmer cuttin' hay
It's a big flag flyin' in the summer wind
Over a fallen hero's grave.

It's America!

I love this song by Rodney Atkins & thought it had some great possibilites for a layout. Whether you use the title or pull a line from the lyrics to use as journaling. I'm excited to see what everyone comes up with. Sorry I don't have an example of my own to share with y'all, but I'm still dealing with computer issues & am on my old DINOSAUR, SO.........for the time being I'm just gonna look forward to the wonderful layouts that you guys post!! Enjoy!
