Make Up Monday 11/12/2012

We recently finished another week of our November theme, "Home Is Where the Heart Is" at Cookin' Up Creations. This month we're featuring challenges that focus on home, community and family.

Cassy started us off on Technique Tuesday with a challenge to feature something special in our community. Her technique was to wrap something in washi tape. Here's her sample layout:

What's New Wednesday brought Michelle's tutuorial on creating a photo star. Here's her completed project!

On Toss Up Thursday, Jo challenged us to use a black and white photo on our layouts. Here is her example:

For Friday's Focus, Barb challenged us to scrap those less than perfect photos that we all have in our collection. Here's her sample layout:

Sketchy Saturday brought us a challenge from Sandy to use the sketch from the October Afternoon blog and to use photos featuring two or more generations. Here is her completed layout:

Annie's Inspiration Sunday challenge asked us to create a layout about the people and animals that live in our home, and to include a home on our layout. Here is her creation:

There's still plenty of time to join in the Blue Plate Special challenges -- a new challenge each day through Nov. 25! We have changed the way in which our participants qualify for the monthly prize drawing, which gives you more chances to win. Come on over to Cookin' Up Creations and see what it's all about!
