Here's a recap of last week's Blue Plate Special challenges:
On Technique Tuesday, in honor of the weather being kissed by the sun (at last!) Cassy shared an embossing/ink stamp "kissing" technique for us to try. She provided a tutorial link and these cute examples:
On What's New Wednesday, Michelle spring-cleaned her stash and found buttons -- lots of buttons. She challenged us to use at least 9 buttons on our project. Here are the two fun cards she made:
Next, it was Toss Up Thursday with Jo. She challenged us to "brush up" on our projects by using paint on the edges and by hand or die cutting our own title. Here is her lovely example:
On Focus Friday, Jan noticed that we're all pulling out our bright-colored and patterned t's and capris now that warm weather is here. She challenged us to mix it up by using at least three different patterned papers from three different manufacturers on our projects. Here's her beautiful layout:
For Sketchy Saturday, Annie did some spring cleaning and challenged us to use our scraps of paper and bits of washi, leftover embellishments and what not. She also used this sketch from PageMaps:
And here's Annie's beautiful layout:

She drew from the pinks for her layout and even had a photo of bouquets of -- you guessed it! -- lilies:
