Make-up Mondays at CUC

Good Morning ladies! It is a beautiful Fall morning, slightly chilly, the leaves are beginning to turn color here, and inspiration abounds in the Blue Plate Special Forum. If you haven't had a chance to check out the inspiring challenges from our talented design team, get out that sketch book, idea book, post-its and copy down their ideas so you can catch up and create some amazing products!

We will start with our Technique Tuesday thread where Kimberly challenges you to try a technique that is popping up in all of the latest fashion - Color Blending.  She shows you how to use markers to create a blending technique on naked chipboard.  These letters really pop on her layout!

In our What’s New Wednesday thread, Jo shows you her amazing layout inspired by butterflies and encourages you to try butterflies on your own projects.  Check out her beautiful example.

For our Transformation Thursday, Patti challenges you to use your stash to alter something.  She encourages you to think outside the box, NOT purchase anything new, and play to create something amazing!  Here is her amazing Fall journal!

Our Friday Focus was on using store bought chipboard to embellish your layout.  Tamara shows you the variety of chipboard shapes and designs that you can use to enhance your layout on her beach themed layout.

Sketchy Saturday revealed acute little sketch and digital template provided by Penny.  Check out her awesome baseball themed layout using this sketch.  Also, you can download her template for your personal use!  How cool is that???

And lastly - but definitely not least, we would love to share with you our Inspirational Sunday challenge where Shawnaw encourages you to try using pinwheels on your layouts, cards, and projects.  Check out her cute samples where she used fabric to create a pinwheel and her instructions to go with it!

I hope that you are just as inspired as I was.  Come visit us and show us what you created using our awesome ideas!!!
