We sure do. Over at the Cookin' Up Creations forum we're recalling all things 80's this month. We're doing a lot fun and interesting challenges. Feel free to put on some neon leg warmers and fish net gloves, jelly bracelets, your Hammer pants, BIG rocker hair, dark liner and put a mix tape in the old boom box and join us.
We started this week with a stitch in time so to speak.
On Technique Tuesday 10/16 - Sewing - Annette challenged us to create a project featuring some sewing. She reminded us how crazy we use to be about Jams - remember those? I remember my brothers wearing those. Annette create this wonderful sample layout love all the stitching she did.
On What's New Wednesday 10/17 - Pastels & 6x6 Papers -Tamara challenged us to create a project featuring Pastels for your background - You know you heard that Miami Vice Music, Don't deny it! You close your eye for a brief moment and saw Don Johnson... & 6x6 Paper Stacks.
Tamara created this amazing layout sample. Love how she used several papers and cut them into strips.
On Toss Up Thursday 10/18 - 80's Memories- Michelle Challenged us to create a project featuring a Photo from the 80's. Simple. Hey, I was a teenager in the 80's - I had the big hair and bright clothes. This is going to be fun.

On Focus Friday 10/19 - The Bedazzler - Cassy challenged us to create a project featuring The Bedazzler - (you remember those - I loved that infomercial). Cassy's challenge is to bedazzle 3 buttons and add them to your project.

On Sketchy Saturday -10/20 - Pop of Color - Jan challenged us to create a project featuring the sketch below along with a pop of color. In honor of all our favorite pop stars of the 80's.

On Inspiration Sunday -10/21 - Top 100 Songs of the 80's - Jo challenged us to create a project featuring one of our favorite songs of the 80's. She provided us with a totally rockin' VH1 top 100 songs list. That's right turn the lights down, crank up the TV and watch your favorite videos of all the best songs the 80's had to offer. (Ok - I remember when VH1 & MTV USE to play videos - not reality shows)
