Angela's DT Reveal (May 2010) KI Memories

The Design Team members of Cookin' Up Creations are SO lucky to be sponsored by Shannon Tidwell - KI Memories for the month of May!! Each of us have the opportunity to design with a different KI Memories collection. My collection was the "Wild Life" line of papers and embellishments..... and talk about FUN, FUN, FUN! It was quite exciting to open our packages to see how packed with goodies that they were. I'm still in complete awe over how generous that Shannon Tidwell - KI Memories were. Here's what I created.... a couple of my pictures need to be retaken and I hope to do that whenever it's not raining here!

Angela's DT Reveal (May 2010) KI Memories

This is the alternate project that I created using this awesome collection of KI Memories "Wild Life".... Just a simple, very cheap corkboard that I picked up from the Dollar Store. At first, I tried to paint it black & white to resemble Zebra stripes but I used Graphite Glitter Mist as my black and it ran over into the white so much that I didn't know how to make it look better.... soooooo thank goodness for plan B! I used leftover "Wild Life" cardstock to decorate it... Not only was it a much better idea but I had a lot of fun creating it!

Jen's Design Team Reveal- KI Memories

I was so excited to get to play with one of my favorite manufacturers, KI Memories. Paisley Parade was the line that I got to play with. I was a little worried about all the paisley but I like how the pages turned out. I hope you like them too!

Amy's KI Posh Reveal

I totally LOVED working with all my KI goodies this month. One of my favorite things about these papers is that I can use the pinks & flowery papers for my girlie LOs, but I can also use the flip-sides with the greens/browns/tans & do boy pages or outdoor LOs. REALLY versatile!!

Because this month’s kit, Sweetie Pie, from Designs by Krista, is all about love, I decided to make four layouts featuring my son with his wife – he just got married! I have a new daughter-in-law and we couldn’t be happier! They are both in the Army and they are currently stationed in Germany. They have made the most of their time in Europe by traveling all around. They’ve visited Italy, France, Greece, and many other exciting places. Hope you enjoy the pages. Special thanks to Krista for the beautiful designs!

KI Memories

This month I tried something different. I grabbed my pictures, the KI Memories amazing ENCHANTING line of papers and embellishments, some cardstock, the latest issues of Scrapbook Etc. and PaperCrafts, and my basic supplies and headed over to a friend's house to scrap...leaving behind my cricut and all of my supplies. I usually flip through my magazines and then throw them aside but this time decided to find some inspiration from the pages of them. It was a fun day and this is what I came up with. TFL!

THANKS to KI MEMORIES for being our sponsor this month....and a very generous one! I am not a card maker by nature so the pages of the May/June 2010 PaperCrafts started my adventure with them but once I started working with the KI papers it was easy to make them. The only problem I had was that these are double sided cardstock papers and I wanted to use both sides! I ran out of papers before I did ideas. Guess I will be visiting the web site to purchase some more!

The ENCHANTING line of papers is so adorable! With paper names like allure, doily, fairy tale, garden, meadow, woodland how could I not be inspired! Add in the lace cardstock and charm die cut paper along with all of the embellishments and it really is an enchanting time....perfect papers for a little girl's first birthday which also happened to be Easter.

Again, thanks for looking and be sure to check out the Enchanting line at the KI Memories site! You'll find me there drooling over all of their new lines! Be sure to visit the KI memories Album in the Cookin' Up Creations gallery.
