Make-Up Monday 11/7/11

On Tuesday, Jan challenges us to include food ad misting on our project and shared a wonderful LO about cheese toast and had wonderful misting on her LO:

On Wednesday, Jo’s challenge was based on toffee squares that her mom used to make.  She challenge us to use a repeated shape to create a pattern on our project

On Thursday, Barb didn’t focus on a food, but on a cooking technique…blending.  After all our recipes would be pretty bland if they always only consisted on one single ingredient.  With this challenge she showed us a way to blend two paint colors and add a coat of glossy accent to make our own epoxy letters.

Leading into the weekend, Friday’s challenge was brought to us by Karen.  She challenged us to showcase those special recipes and make recipe cards or a LO featuring them.

Saturday brought us another wonderful sketch that Tamara found in the Oct. 2011 issue of CK magazine:

The week was wrapped up by a beautiful inspiration piece created by Nicole in which she sowed us how to use food coloring to make custom mists for our projects:

I hope you all are able to take the time to play catch up today on this past week’s fabulous challenges.  We look forward to seeing everything you create.

LOTW 11/2/11

Wow, I have been so busy this month that I am behind in the gallery. But yesterday when I went in to look for my pick this week and to leave some comments, I was blown away. You ladies are rocking the gallery. I went back this morning to do another quick glance and this week I want feature this "Thankful for Daddy" LO by Bev. As we enter into the Thansgiving season, I think it's a great LO to start the month out with since it does focus on something that they are thankful for...

Congratulations Bev on having your LO chosen as LOTW.
