Whew...what a week. If you are like me, the summer seems busier than the school year. Well, we have been busy here too.....
This week we had lots of fun challenges offered by the Master Chef Team...
On Tuesday, Tamara asked us to remember the movie. Knight and Day and use nigh time photos as a photo border.
Then on Wednesday, we were asked by Amy to be like the Duggar family on 19 Kids and counting and be thrifty...and use things we might find at a thrift store. She also gave us great examples of October Afternoon line "Thrift Store" to further inspire us. Here is her layout on which she used a piece of the pattern from her wedding dress...
On Thursday, Barb shared her great idea that came from the movie "Forest Gump" In the movie, Forest's mother shared their home with several borders...and so we were asked to use her techinique of making a fabric looking border from so patterned paper.
Friday's Focus by Bev asked us to draw upon the show Baby Einstein to focus on shapes and use a crimper to add even more texture to our shapes and titles...
And on Saturday, Tammy shared a sketch from Creative Scrappers to inspire us.
Since she was focusing on "Dirty Jobs" she also asked us to make the layout a little dirty with some ink or distressing...
And on Sunday, Jan reminded us of all the yummy stuff on the Food Network and challenged us to do a layout about food and include a list or recipe.
Enjoy your Monday and remember there is a great prize package from SEI up for grabs among those who complete 15 challenges this month!!
