We also have the opportunity to work with two Etsy stores this month as well: Shinta Shop, who has provided some fantastic tags for us; and The Crafty Pearl, with adorable felt embellishments. We hope you check out all of our generous sponsors this month!
Now for the reveal from the Cookin' up Creations Design Team:
Barb chose the bright and bold fishing patterned papers to show off photos of her daughter's family on their vacation to South Dakota. She kept her embellishments to a minimum and popped up two of her photos for added emphasis. She added her own die cut alpha, October Afternoon alpha stickers, rick rack and buttons.
The Scrappin' Sports & More wrestling papers were perfect for a photo of her son. She added some
sports rub-ons, leather photo corners, assorted trims, and chipboard letters, and journaled around the edge of the layout.
Jenny noted that she was amazed at how quickly her project came together this week! She crafted a page using Scrappin; Sports & More's soccer paper, then inserted it into an 8 x 10 inch acrylic frame. She added stickers to the outside of the frame to give it some dimension.
Jo chose the February calendar page from Scrappin' Sports & More with its heart motif for a monochromatic page using only pinks. She used inks and Stickles to accent her paper edges and the hearts on the paper; and some buttons and flowers from her stash to accent the colors of her daughter's bracelet. The adorable felt flower was from The CraftyPearl.
Nordica combined the Sports Head On Hunting paper from Scrappin' Sports & More with some fun photos of her younger son wearing his favorite camo print. She used her Cricut to cut a puzzle piece from the paper and added leaves cut with her Cuttlebug for an outdoorsy feel. She added brads, chalk ink and American Crafts Thickers.
Robin chose the February calendar page from Scrappin' Sports & More to create a perfect thank you card. She added black & white cardstock, bling, a rose cut with her Cricut and a Martha Stewart punch to create this card:
Sandy created a layout using the "The Sport is...Football" line (words/footballs), "Sports Head On...Track" line (green dots) and the Football Cardstock stickers from Scrappin' Sports & More. She also used DCWV cardstock, Basic Grey Fruitcake alphabet stickers, Crafts etc! Twine and Staz-on Ink.
Tamara chose felt embellishments from The Crafty Pearl along with Anna Griffin patterned paper, stickers and string for this lovely card:
Her second card included basketball themed paper from Scrappin' Sports & More on a card for a boy who loves basketball!
