Good Morning everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend and that the week is starting off perfectly for you! Here's a recap of all the fun stuff that went on last week!
On Tuesday, Tamara challenged us to create a mosaic on our pages using a PHOTO!! I have to admit...it looks awesome! I started working on a page for this one last night! Here's her fab example:
On Wednesday, Wanda issued a 2-part challenge! The first part was to scrap about a relationship between people other than yourself. The second part was to change out the center of at least one flower, and do a flower center that you haven't done before. In her example, she replaced the center of her flower with some bits from an old dress pattern and a glass marble embellishment. Here's her example:
And a close up of that flower!
Thursday, Cassy challenged us to alter something with a Spring theme since the weather had been so nice. She created this awesome banner:
For Friday's Focus, I challenged you to use those paper strips you have left over and are always saving.
Our Sketch on Saturday was a great 2-pager that Sandy found in Creating Keepsakes magazine. Can't wait to try this one!
Sunday's Inspiration was to "Jump start your Creativity". Tamara shared an idea she found in a book of the same name where you write creativity "prompts" on strips of paper and then put the papers in a little cup or jar on your desk. When you get in a slump, you pull out a slip of paper and do what it tells you to do! It could tell you to stitch, paint, add buttons...anything! A really fun way to get your thought processes going. Look at this pretty little teacup that Tamara uses to store her little strips!
And that's a wrap! Lots of great ideas this week! Hope you get the time to try some of them!!!
Have a great week!
