Today is Make Up Monday here at Cookin' Up Creations, when we review the Blue Plate Special challenges of the past week and get ready for the ones ahead. And the first week in February brought us some great challenges!
Here's our review:
On Tuesday, Patti taught us how to paint with distress inks. Here is her beautiful example:
Tamara challenged us on Wednesday to use our newest scrapbooking purchase. She gave us this adorable layout using her new DCWV paper stacks:
On Thursday, Jenny gave us a great tutorial for making this folding card or mini book using a plain manila folder:
Friday was "for the birds" when Barb focused on the one of the current scrapbooking trends. She challenged us to use papers or embellishments with birds and created a layout as an example:
Tammy presented Sketchy Saturday this week, with a sketch by Design Team alumna Sandy:
And on Sunday, Cassy used some of that fantastic artwork that you find on old record jackets as inspiration for this adorable layout:
If you complete at least twelve (12) of the February Blue Plate Specials, your name will be entered into the Dessert Tray prize drawing at the end of the month. So give these challenges a try and make sure to upload them into the gallery at Cookin' Up Creations Forum.
Today also is the deadline for completing the challenges from our "Stirrin' Up a Li'l Love" crop -- so get those projects uploaded to the forum gallery by 6 pm Eastern time today!
Have a great week!
