DT Reveal March 21, 2011

Our sponsors this month Gel*a* tins, cu-te-ta-pe and P.S. it's in the details have brought some wonderful creations from our Design Team. Look what they created this week!

Barb

This week I created a frame using products from all three sponsors. It started with a wooden frame, which I covered with old sheet music and October Afternoon papers. I used the Gel-a-tins "Just a Note" stamp set to add some pale blue musical accents to my sheet music and my label. The pretty green leaves that accent my flower are flocked and stitched tags from P.S. It's all in the details. I pleated some green striped washi tape from Cu-te' Ta-pe' and used it underneath a piece of crocheted lace; I also made leaves with the tape. The label is a Spellbinders die cut and the sentiment is a Pink Paislee rub on.

For this weeks Design Team Reveal I was inspired by the Blue Plate Special Challenge to wrap my chipboard letters with tape. It was really easy to do using Cute Tape. Self adhesive and pretty! I decided to leave the chipboard letters with bumps to mimic the ripples in the water. I also used Bo Bunny Press papers, velvet ribbon, buttons and Cloud Nine bubbles.

I LOVED this tag by P.S. It's in the Details! This tag really reminds me of what we're seeing around here right now! So I decided to use it on a "Happy Spring" card! I used my Gel-a-tins stamps to created the top and bottom border. The only extras were the Studio G stamps for the title and the Studio G ink!

And as soon as I saw the elephants in the Gel-a-tins stamp set, I KNEW I wanted to use them for a baby card! I used Studio G ink and stamps again and added some ribbon and fiber that I had in my stash.

I love the leaf tag I received from PS. It's in the details so I combined it with some other flowers and leaves I had for this layout of my youngest with a butterfly that landed on her hair. I also used the Washi Tape from Cu-te' Ta-pe' to make three dimension stripes across my layout.
My papers and the transparency are from the Fancy Pants Simplicity line.

In this layout of my daughter's Bridals I used this beautiful tag from P.S. It's in the details. It changed out the ribbon in the top of it from purple to yellow so it would give my page a softer look. I love the moss effect on the edge, it gives it a 3-D look and it goes so well with the greenery she is standing by. I used the tag to put my journaling on and what a fun story to tell.

I also used an old piece of pattern paper from my stash. Added some new ribbon and a lock and key brad from Oriental Trading as well as making memories letters for my title..."under lock and key"
